Staff explained the grant funds are reimbursed and that the department must account for officer overtime, stops, citations and other metrics before submitting quarterly reimbursement requests to the state. The board moved to accept the grant and give the town administrator authority to sign the grant documents. Selectmen noted the state requires a 25% soft match and that the town typically uses the detail rate as part of that match.
