The Jackson County Board of Commissioners approved six Van Sweringen Scholarships at $300 apiece, selecting six recipients from eight applications. The awards were granted to: Alec Frazier (HHS), Bailey Kathrens (HHS), Teagan Bowhay (JHHS), Daniel Cannon (HHS), Chesnea Cochren (JHHS) and Ronin Gentile (RVHS). Two applications were denied because required information was incomplete.
