Commission approves MOUs to coordinate county child-abuse response

The MOUs formalize collaboration among Clark County Family and Children Services, Clark County Juvenile Court, the Sheriff’s Office, multiple municipal police departments, the Child Advocacy Center, Dayton Children’s Medical Center, and other community partners. The purpose stated in the resolution is to achieve "an efficient and protocol-based response to child abuse and neglect through interdisciplinary collaboration in Clark County." The agreement period is listed as Dec. 31, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2027.
The board authorized the County Administrator to execute the MOUs; the resolutions provide the framework for coordinated investigations, information-sharing and support services among signatories.
