Rossing reported that appraisals covered 535 acres of corn with 0.66 acres determined to be damaged in 2025, resulting in $319.72 in approved claims; he noted that damage declined from roughly $1,700 in 2024 and attributed the reduction in part to trapping and a good natural food supply. The committee approved the 2025 wildlife damage claims on a Thomas/Mullard motion.
