The Iron County Comprehensive Planning/Land & Zoning Committee completed routine business on Feb. 17, approving the Jan. 20, 2025 minutes and the current zoning bills, scheduling the next meeting and adjourning the session.
Erika Roeder acknowledged the meeting posting before members approved the minutes on a motion by Karen Lauer with Doug Swartz seconding; the motion carried 4-0. Later, Kurt Wolff moved and Doug Swartz seconded approval of zoning bills; the motion also carried 4-0. The committee set its next meeting for 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in the Iron County Courthouse main Board Room. Chairman Patrick Hanson moved to adjourn and the transcript records Wolff approving and Rick Boes seconding; however, Boes was listed as absent in the attendance, so the transcript contains an internal inconsistency on that point.
