Council approves storm drain and river access easements for Navarro and Monument Health

The council unanimously approved conveyances for two easements on March 10, 2026. Council approved the conveyance of a storm drain easement for the Navarro property at 247 East 700 North and adopted an agreement conveying river access to Monument Health for property at 350 East 300 North.
Council Member Ernie John thanked public works for assisting with the Navarro easement. For the Monument Health item, council members said the easement was needed to access the river. Both motions passed unanimously with three council members voting in favor and two absent.
