Bailey also reported training completions: Tax Assessor’s Office Administrator Melissa Lazar completed I & IA courses and earned Appraiser One certification; Board Member Kevin Hanville completed Course IA (April 13–17); and Board Member Bill Malone completed IAAO Course 101 (April 20–24). Bailey and Vice Chairman Chris Sides are scheduled to attend CAVEAT in person May 19–21 while Chairman Nicole Wasendorf will attend virtually. Bailey additionally told the board that the Georgia Department of Revenue and state legislators are meeting about the Notice of Assessment format, which may delay mailing to taxpayers; the transcript provides no further details about timing or contingencies.
