Chief Appraiser Robert Bailey asked the board for authority to sign CUVA/FLPA release documents on older applications whenever a new, renewal or continuing covenant is submitted. After a motion by Mr. Kevin Hanville and a second by Mr. Jay Moon, the board unanimously approved granting that authority to the chief appraiser.
The authorization is administrative and is intended to streamline processing of renewals and continuations; the board’s action delegates signature authority to staff for cases where a new application or renewal replaces an older covenant. The minutes record the motion and the unanimous vote; staff will apply the delegated authority when processing eligible applications.
