The City Council approved a City Council working session to be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 4:00–6:30 p.m. at the Mary Joyce Community Center. Councilmember Naomi Wilson moved to approve the session; Councilmember Jennifer Jensen seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The session will focus on budget priorities, legislative agenda development and short- and long-term goals and staff and participants were asked to prepare in advance.
On routine business the Council approved the agenda (as amended) and approved payroll for May 5, 2026; motions were recorded as passing 5-0. The Council also recorded a minutes approval for April 21, 2026. These items were procedural and no substantive policy change was enacted in those motions.
