Board approves minutes and consent agenda; schedules upcoming budget hearings

Staff noted the county will hold a budget amendment in two weeks for fiscal 2026 and start fiscal-2027 budget deliberations in late February with a series of tax-levy hearings in March; the board plans to adopt the budget by April 23 and file it with the state by April 30. No policy changes or spending decisions were made at the Jan. 29 meeting beyond scheduling.
