Finance staff reported corrections and carryovers for police and fire capital projects. Police fleet impact fee revenues were reduced by $100,000; capital items carried forward include an evidence building and tenant improvements on the police building's third floor with estimated capital costs of about $1.8 million. For fire, impact fees continue to fund debt service on two pieces of apparatus, including a 2019 ladder truck and a newly purchased 2026 truck.
City Administrator David Bunker reported the local building authority financed the public works facility with lease revenue bonds earlier this year, saving approximately $1.2 million due to favorable market timing. No formal action was taken at the workshop; staff will include these items in the next council packet as action items for the April 14 council meeting packet where appropriate.
