The St. Helena Parish Police Jury acknowledged receipt of monthly budget-to-actual comparison and financial reports prepared by Sibley & Newell, CPA at the June 24 meeting. The acknowledgement was made by motion of Mrs. Quanika H. Muse, seconded by Mr. Jule C. Wascom, and recorded as unanimously carried.
By separate motion Mr. Jule C. Wascom, seconded by Mr. Ryan Byrd, the jury approved requisitions as presented by the Purchasing Agent and approved the employees' Accruable Benefits report. The jury also approved checks written after the last regular meeting totaling $247,482.78.
The minutes record the approvals and the check total but do not list individual requisition items, vendors, or line-item expenditures. For a detailed accounting, the public should request the requisition packets and check register from the Police Jury clerk.
