The board set chemical sales for Tuesdays in June from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on June 2, 9, 16 and 23 and agreed to revisit adding a fifth Tuesday if activity warrants at the June meeting. Weed Officer Derrill Fick said sales will follow the schedule used in prior years.
Fick reported three seasonal sprayers returning for 2026: Nicholas Johnson (Kenmare), Delvin Walter and Bob Swartout; Wollschlager LLC will cover areas near Douglas. Fick and available seasonal sprayers will continue to spray state highways as needed.
