Staff to begin negotiations with Tyler Technologies for jail management software

Staff said Tyler was selected based on fit, vendor capability and the county's evaluation process.
Board members asked whether a final contract would return to the board. A committee member confirmed that the presentations are for negotiations and that "the final contracts will come back...For approval." The presentation emphasized that the project is large and staff wanted board visibility before proceeding with detailed negotiations.
