South Parks Road accepted into parish road system by ordinance

At the June 17 meeting the Bossier Parish Police Jury adopted Ordinance No. 5119 to accept South Parks Road (1.0 mile) into the parish road system for permanent maintenance.
Parish Engineer Eric Hudson explained that during the Parks Road Realignment Project this section of roadway was not formally accepted for permanent maintenance at substantial completion. The ordinance, offered by Mr. Doug Rimmer and seconded by Mr. John Ed Jorden, was adopted unanimously and a certified copy will be recorded in the clerk of court's office.
