Commissioner Jared Orton opened a public hearing at 2:00 PM to receive sealed bids for the Minidoka County Commissioner Office building. Architect Matt Frankle of Myers Anderson Architect opened eight bids. Reported bid amounts included: Wright Brothers Construction $4,248,800; Conrad Brothers Construction $4,775,128.20; Gary Jones Construction $3,377,440; Koyles Classic Construction $3,104,029; Stanley and Associates $3,463,400; Peterson Brothers $3,193,257. Two bids (Alpine Construction and Hall & Hill Construction) were incomplete due to missing Public Works Contractor License information.
Myers Anderson said it will issue an intent to award and the architect indicated the award will occur March 2, 2026 at 10:30 AM. The minutes do not record any board vote on the award at this meeting. The bid opening was recorded as a public hearing; multiple members of the public were listed as present.
