County approves $99 radon testing quote for owner‑occupied rehab, caps mitigation in grants at $25,000 per household

Kimball said mitigation costs can be included as part of the rehabilitation grant up to the program cap of $25,000 per household and reported more than 100 completed applications are in the queue. The action will allow the program to proceed with radon testing as homes move to the mitigation and repair phase.
