Commissioners asked whether funds in the county's Class 5 (equipment) account were available; staff confirmed the cost would be charged to the identified class and that totals discussed in the session were approximately $69,000 for the combined package, although the figure was reviewed and cross‑checked during the Q&A. Duran asked the board to approve moving forward with procurement in the evening agenda so devices can be fielded for patrol, CID and school resource officers.
