"Bill Bullock was here this morning, still here again, to ask for support for the Ridley Lake Park funding project," the County Manager said during the meeting, describing the $30,000 request as a matching fund intended to improve the project's scoring for the state grant. The manager said the county earlier provided a letter of support and had intended to use ARPA funds for the project.
Board members discussed the project's history; the manager said the city first applied for the stewardship grant about 4.5 years ago and that county support had been previously documented. Chair moved approval and the motion carried by voice vote. The funding will come from the CIP fund as recommended.
The board did not provide additional fiscal detail in the meeting packet about the project's total budget or project timeline beyond the match request; staff indicated the item will return as needed for project implementation steps.
