Commissioners authorize Clay County EMS contracts with two Cloud County townships

Alec Trembath, Clay County EMS director, reported the department had 20 emergency runs in the last week and will attend the Region 4 meeting in Ellsworth to discuss a Mutual Aid Agreement covering counties in the district. Trembath presented signed contracts with Colfax Township and Star Township in Cloud County for Clay County EMS to provide service.
Commissioner Carlson moved that the Clay County chairman sign the contracts; Commissioner Mayo seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The contracts extend EMS coverage agreements into neighboring townships under Clay County EMS operations.
