Council reviews flood response and hears FLIP infrastructure update; emergency relief available

The PC Lions Club was noted to have $5,000 in emergency flood relief available in $50 Walmart gift cards for affected residents.
The mayor's report also updated council on the FLIP infrastructure program: city staff discussed bidding for Plan B (below-ground work) with an engineering firm and are awaiting additional information from the U.S. Department of Agriculture before moving to bid; the report concluded, "IT'S HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!" Councilmembers asked follow-ups about localized street damage (Oak and Hayes streets) and about whether potted downtown trees might be covered under the grant; Auditor Mr. Below said he would investigate and advise.
