Mayor announces clerk-treasurer appointment and $590,000 for ADA upgrades

Hopkins also credited state representatives, including Senator Trudeau, for securing up to $590,000 in state capital funding to make the City’s building and the Mary Joyce Community Center ADA-accessible. The mayor said planning has begun to coordinate contractors, and the funds are expected to become accessible around July 1, 2026, to support facility upgrades that will also accommodate the city’s new ticketing/hearing system.
