Residents urge caution on TerraCotta plans for Lot 15, citing height and soil concerns

Written comments from Sophy Englund and Lesley Pollack, submitted for the record, echoed concerns about environmental safety (contaminated soil), adherence to the master plan, and the visual impacts of taller buildings; Pollack also urged preserving variety in landmark and height treatments across the Marina District and encouraged measures (parks, plazas, view corridors) that preserve Ruston’s character.
Speakers framed their comments as a combination of support for completing development and a request to honor existing zoning and environmental safeguards.
