The Select Board voted unanimously to appoint Brian Robischeau as an alternate member of the Heritage Commission with a term expiring in 2027 after a request from Heritage Commission Chair Bob Servacek. Servacek also reported that the July 4 program was successful and that the annual ice cream social will be held on Aug. 15 (setup Aug. 14).
Separately, Trustee of Trust Funds Meg Ingalls announced a public Trustees meeting on July 16 and highlighted Gaffney Library summer programs, a community tie-dye event on Aug. 1, and the 'Art at the Gaffney' exhibit running through Aug. 15 featuring more than 90 local artists. Ingalls encouraged public participation in library events.
