The Weatherford Public Schools Board of Education voted on Jan. 12 to extend Superintendent Mark Harmon's contract through June 30, 2029, and to raise his base salary from $150,000 to $160,500. The motion to amend and extend the contract was made by Bryan Bayless and seconded by Kyle King and passed by a 5-0 vote.
The action was taken following an executive session called under 25 O.S. Section 307 (B)(1) to discuss employment matters. The extension and salary amendment were recorded in Exhibit B and entered into the meeting minutes. No dissenting votes were recorded.
