Executive Director Chip England told the board the FY26 projection showed a roughly $75,000 shortfall and that the engineering increase is tied to design for the Dove Haven water-line replacement, a project affected by environmental conditions with remediation work by DEQ and an insurance claim still pending.
Carlton Revere moved to amend the FY26 budget for the $12,000 IT increase and $20,000 engineering increase; Janet Riggs seconded the motion and the board carried it unanimously. Mr. England noted the board will monitor reserves and may consider rate analysis work to support long-term stability.
