County approves $198,745 network upgrade and $1.12 million rescue-truck change order; DA vehicle also approved

Commissioners approved paying half of the IT quote upfront ($99,372.53) with the Accounting Department authorized to issue a special check on April 23, 2025, to secure current pricing. The rescue-truck change order brought the two-truck total, including equipment, to $1,123,137.04; Chairman Perdue said the change followed a Rosenbauer plant site visit, and Chief Stoner "agreed that the changes were necessary." The board also approved a 2025 Ford F-150 for the District Attorney at $65,429 to be reimbursed from Drug Forfeiture Funds.
