The Houston County Board of Commissioners on April 22 approved adding the Remington Chase Phase II subdivision on Gurr Road in Perry to the county's Water Purchase Agreement with the City of Perry, subject to conditions.
Commissioner Talton said the approval requires the developer to post a bond covering 125% of construction costs for work on the Houston Water System, follow the rate structure the board approved on Feb. 18, 2025, and obtain a utility permit only after meeting county conditions under "Houston County Utility Accommodations." The action passed unanimously.
