County hires engineers for Lashley Subdivision road and drainage improvements ($74,500)

The board approved an Engineering Services Agreement with Saunders Engineering Consultants, Inc., of Centerville for the Lashley Subdivision Road & Drainage Improvement Project.
Commissioner Talton presented the contract, which allocates $74,500 from 2018 SPLOST Blight Abatement funds to prepare construction plans for improvements to 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue. Chairman Perdue thanked Saunders Engineering and said he hopes similar neighborhood improvements can be replicated elsewhere in Houston County.
