Board approves YMCA recommendation for architect and construction manager for planned Surry County facility

After the presentation, a motion to approve the YMCA’s recommendations was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. "WM Jordan has done multiple projects like this and have the capacity and expertise," the presenter said, and the board voted to accept the firms and proceed to the next steps in the project process.
