Sheriff: patrol dash cameras to go live this week; body cams delayed awaiting Motorola equipment

Clerk Stacy Rein also told the board she would discuss a voucher with the Sheriff's Office concerning reimbursement for a new hire’s Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) expenses; Rein said she checked with county auditors and that the voucher is not to be taken from personal services. No formal board action on purchasing body cameras was recorded at the meeting.
