An emergency claim from the sheriff's department to Dell Marketing for $1,730.50 was approved during an earlier session; at the Sept. 9 meeting the board approved an emergency claim from the sheriff's department to Dell Technologies for $2,483.98 and an emergency warranty claim to Ed Martin of Anderson for $1,945 related to a recently purchased 2024 Chevrolet Silverado.
The board also approved paperwork transferring titles for two new sheriff and highway vehicles and for the sheriff's wrecked Dodge and the 2008 Ford from the highway department. The meeting adjourned at 11:30 a.m.
