The Conservation Land Review Committee (CLRC) is developing a framework of priorities and evaluation metrics to help the Tamworth Conservation Commission and partner towns assess the value of land parcels for conservation. The CLRC work is intended to standardize how parcels are evaluated and to assist decision-making when conservation opportunities arise.
The CLRC includes members from neighboring Sandwich Conservation Commission and seeks to provide consistent criteria for weighing ecological, hydrologic, and public-access values in land protection decisions. Commissioners did not take formal action at this meeting but noted the work as an active priority.
