The Watonga Board of Education approved negotiated agreements covering both support personnel and certified staff for the 2026–2027 school year on July 13. Aaron Clewell moved approval of the Support Negotiated Agreement and Courtney Nagel seconded; the board recorded a 4–0 vote in favor. The Certified Negotiated Agreement was approved in the same manner later in the meeting.
Board minutes show the motions were routine ratifications of negotiated terms; the minutes do not include the text of either agreement or detail changes to compensation or working conditions. The approvals authorize district leadership to implement the terms as negotiated with employee representatives for the coming school year.
Both motions were made and seconded by board members present and carried without recorded dissent. The district will follow up through its usual channels to distribute the agreements to affected employees and implement any agreed changes.
