Board approves small animal-fund transfer, adopts revised FY2027 budget calendar

County Administrator Matthew L. Walker presented a revised FY2027 budget calendar: the next work session is scheduled for March 26, budget advertisements were tentatively planned for April 2 and April 9, the public hearing for April 16, and budget adoption for April 23; Walker noted the school budget must be adopted by May 15 and the county budget by June 30. The board approved the revised calendar unanimously.
