Nathan, a town staff member, reported to the Planning and Zoning Commission that the final plat for North Lake Vista is a 5‑acre property on Florence Road north of the Fieldhouse Volleyball Facility and currently lies in the town's extraterritorial jurisdiction. "This 1st item is just a report on approved plats since your last meeting," Nathan said in opening the presentation.
Nathan told commissioners the development agreement for the property calls for annexation and envisioned light industrial or commercial uses: "There's plans to build, about 68,000 square feet of building space in 6 separate buildings." He added that water service is to be provided by the town pursuant to the development agreement and that sewer access is not available in the area, so wastewater will be handled by a private septic system.
The presentation included no public speakers on the plat. Commissioners did not take final action on this item during tonight's meeting; staff noted the annexation/development agreement pathway and said future rezoning and site plan review would follow the town's procedures. The commission moved on to other agenda items after questions were addressed.
