Lyndon Station board orders hookup notices, denies on-site sewer and water permits pending development plans

Village officials reviewed a list of properties that are not currently connected to municipal water and sewer services. Clerk/Treasurer Michelle L. Klein, using a list supplied by Public Works Superintendent Steve Klicko, noted which properties lack nearby infrastructure; the Board agreed that properties without available village infrastructure will not be required to connect now, while others will receive a formal notice requiring hookup.
On two individual requests, the Board denied permission for private on-site systems until concrete development plans are submitted. President Bob Darnell moved to deny a private on-site sewer at a Washington Street property; Trustee Jan Miller moved to deny private on-site water and sewer for properties owned by Brian and Jessica Hoehn on West Limits Road. Both motions passed unanimously, and the Board said decisions may be revisited if and when development or construction plans are produced.
