On April 14 the Cumberland County Board of Supervisors appointed Linda Card to the Economic Development Authority; the appointment was made by motion of Supervisor Eurika Tyree, seconded by Supervisor Robert Saunders, and carried unanimously. The term for the appointment ends April 30, 2029.
At the same meeting, the Board considered a Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act (PPEA) proposal and, on a motion by Supervisor Paul Stimpson seconded by Supervisor Bryan Hamlet, rejected the proposal as presented. Both actions were recorded as unanimous votes.
