Several residents and school employees raised specific facility concerns. Reginald Sims said he was "appalled" after touring the bus shop and urged the Board to consider improvements, citing potential risks to students and mechanics. Nate Layne, a high school teacher and parent, said schools would be worth a tax increase. The Board left the public hearing open until April 21, 2026 and invited written or oral comments to Interim County Administrator Jay Scudder or Deputy Clerk Tiana Branch by the close of business.
