District administrators reported progress expanding dual-credit course offerings and CTE alignments with Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOC) and regional partners. "So with the 54 credits that we offer in dual credit, they'll all be applied," a presenter said, describing in-school dual-credit classes and online expanded-options courses taught by SWOC faculty.
Officials said college-course enrollment figures include 21 students in college math, 25 in college writing and 11 in college biology; expanded options enrolled students in diverse subjects including diesel mechanics, pre-nursing and welding. The district also intends to expand college visits for grades 7–12 and pursue local business partnerships to grow work-experience and internship opportunities.
