Superintendent Trip Goodall presented the Division 22 assurances report for the 2024-25 school year and told the board the district will create a centralized notebook to hold supporting documentation that demonstrates compliance with state rules.
Goodall identified several follow-up items: increasing physical-education minutes at the elementary level (no specific minute totals were provided), and developing a Substance Use Prevention and Intervention Plan in coordination with neighboring districts and Columbia Basin Health (CBH) using the tool supplied by the State. He said the district has met with the Education Equity Advisory Committee (CVC) and will monitor assessment changes required this year.
