The commission confirmed it will submit a formal written request to the town Finance office to move the $7,500 LUCT allocation into the Conservation Fund.
The commission noted that the Conservation Fund is funded primarily by LUCT revenue (up to $7,500 annually) and donations and that unused operating budget money returns to the general fund while Conservation Fund monies remain available year to year. No outstanding bills were reported at the meeting.
