The board approved a series of personnel motions during its Aug. 19 meeting, moving a group of hires and personnel actions through without extended discussion.
Motions recorded in the minutes show the board approved hiring LRE aides Evelyn Anderson, Kelly Cittadino, Jillian Mahaffey and Cheryl Sundling; the Buildings and Grounds hires Luke Joki, Jeremy Lindsay and Hunter Warlin; part-time assistant caregiver Ariel Machamer; custodian Lisa Mattila; and bus driver Dean Rushford. The board also "recognized Savana Driesenga’s letter of resignation" and authorized an extension of Janine Jurasin’s maternity leave. "Motion by Crystal LaFreniere supported by John Grove to hire Luke Joki, Jeremy Lindsay, and Hunter Warlin to manage our Buildings and Grounds needs as presented. Motion carried," the minutes state.
All motions were recorded as carried; the minutes do not list individual roll-call tallies or additional conditions attached to the hires. These personnel approvals will be processed by the district human-resources and payroll offices before the start of the school year.
