NICE Community School District board approves $1.85 million in disbursements and fiscal reports

On motions recorded in the minutes, the board approved General Fund bills in the amount of $1,263,764.00 for the period July 22 through Aug. 16, 2024, and July payrolls totaling $585,372.03, for total disbursements of $1,849,136.03. The Treasurer’s Reports were accepted showing total receipts of $2,001,680.34 and total disbursements of $2,343,827.39; the Sinking Fund balance was listed at $1,114,250.71 and the Debt Retirement Fund at $250.00 for July 31, 2024. "Motion by Chad Korpi supported by Steve Baril to approve the General Fund Bills in the amount of $1,263,764.00 ... for total disbursements in the amount of $1,849,136.03," the minutes record.
The motions carried as presented; the minutes do not show individual vote tallies. The board addressed these items under the consent and finance sections of the agenda and did not record extended discussion on the finances. Next routine financial reviews and reports will be considered at subsequent board meetings as part of standard fiscal oversight.
