During public comment resident Jane Granza said vehicles parked at the start of Rose Street near Keystone Avenue—driven by people who do not live on Rose Street—create a hazard when drivers try to pull onto Keystone. "These people don't live on Rose St they live on Keystone Ave, can anything be done" she asked the council.
Chief Salreno responded that officers would watch the area and "keep an eye on the vehicles parking in this area to make sure that they stay back far enough from the corner." Borough Secretary Christopher R. Paone said the borough must be made aware of parking concerns to address them and that he would look into enlarging the No Outlet sign.
Mr. Granza also told council that paving performed by Pennsy Supply left sidewalks lower than the road and that the end of the road is very rough and may not last through the winter; Mr. Paone said borough crews would inspect the site and contact UGI if necessary.
