Blakely Borough Council voted Oct. 21 to authorize Borough Secretary Christopher R. Paone to apply for Monroe County Local Share Account funds to purchase a new Chevy Tahoe 4x4 for the police department, in the amount of $85,347.09.
Atty. Abrahamsen read Resolution 25 of 2024; "A motion to approve was made by Mr. Munley and seconded by Mr. Alco. All ayes," the minutes state. The motion passed unanimously. The resolution authorizes the application only; the meeting record does not show a final purchase contract or delivery schedule.
Mr. Paone will prepare and submit the application to the Monroe County Local Share Account program as authorized by the council.
