Public works, parks, ambulance give updates as city prepares for Sauerkraut Days

Ambulance Director Jacob Lindauer reported extensive training including driver training. City Administrator Brandon Siggins summarized multiple administrative items—fire department service arrangements with townships, a pancake breakfast partnership with Fareway, local business roundups at Fareway and Gary’s, street washing, sports complex weed control, a meeting with YTT, nuisance work, LRS commercial accounts, downtown grant activity, and a 28E parking agreement with the school. The council reminded residents that SE Linn and the Sauerkraut Committee need volunteers.
