Members discussed options for addressing immediate needs versus long-term planning. Staff said some projects (roof patching, sectional flooring, window replacement bids and gym-floor refinishing) are staged over multiple years, and acknowledged that the operating budget cannot absorb multimillion-dollar paving or large capital projects. "We're gonna have to probably look at a bond to get that work done because there's no way we can pull $1,000,000 out of our operating budget," the Staff member said. The board asked staff to reprioritize projects in January and to provide follow-up with stakeholders who contributed input to the priority list.
