The Chair called the Yamhill Carlton SD 1 special session to order on July 21 and explained that, while the board does not generally make final decisions in special sessions, state law and board policy permit voting and the board planned to act during the meeting.
A board member asked for an agenda revision, saying, "1st Federal in Carlton needs some more specific language before they'll add Melanie to the accounts." That request led the board to add a new resolution labeled as item B to clarify the bank-signature language. The Chair confirmed the added resolution had been emailed to members for review.
The Chair moved the revised agenda and the motion was seconded; members vocalized "aye" and the Chair declared the motion to approve the agenda, as amended, passed. The board then proceeded to consider bank-related resolutions on the amended agenda.
