The board approved a resolution to increase special-revenue appropriations tied to the Community Eligibility Provision after staff said federal and state reimbursements exceeded projections. A separate resolution declared several portable bleachers surplus and authorized their sale. The board also moved, and approved, a motion to open the superintendent’s contract for discussion in executive session under ORS 192.660(2)(a).
Quote: "Once you stop, once you if you don't get your budget in you don't get, your state school fund payments until the budget I mean until your audit is completed," Tammy said, explaining why timely audits are critical. The meeting adjourned into executive session to discuss the superintendent contract.
